ATTENTION re: COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) global pandemic
The Physicians, Nurses, and Staff here at Main Line Allergy are here to take care of you during this challenging time. In light of recent events related to the COVID-19 global pandemic, we have instituted the following policies and precautions in efforts to safely see our patients and protect their families:
1) UPCOMING SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS:
To decrease your risk of exposure and maximize social distancing principles, we will be converting all appointments that have already been scheduled to telemedicine appointments through secure live video conferencing. If necessary, we will then also schedule an office appointment for any further testing or evaluation.
2) OFFICE APPOINTMENTS:
We request that only 1 parent/guardian/support person accompany our patient in efforts to reduce your exposure to other patients and staff. If this is not possible, accommodations can be arranged - please call the office prior to your appointment.
As per state and federal recommendations, please also wear a FACE MASK covering nose and mouth if coming into office. We unfortunately do not have enough supplies to provide one for you.
3) AT RISK PATIENTS:
Any patient or parent who has traveled to COVID-19 high-risk areas in the last 2 weeks should reschedule their allergy shot or appointment until 14 days have elapsed since returning to Pennsylvania.
Any patient or parent with symptoms of respiratory infection or cold (cough, shortness of breath, fever of 100 or more, and/or sore throat), or who has come in contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19/coronavirus, should call the office to speak to a triage nurse BEFORE coming to the office.
4) ALLERGY SHOTS:
Please check our website homepage frequently for last-minute changes to posted walk-in hours. New waiting room seating and sign-in procedures have also been implemented at our various offices.
Please DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL. We are here for you.
